Salford Diocese Communications Service

The Communications Project is a unique, Salford Diocesan initiative to improve diocesan communications, particularly with respect to improving knowledge about, and the work of, Salford Diocesan Commissions and Organisations to parishes and people of the diocese.

It promotes the recruitment, training and development of Parish Information Officers who work in co-ordination with the Project's Communications Office to ensure effective dissemination of Diocesan Information.

The project also promotes the utilisation of modern electronic communications channels ( e-mail networks and Internet Web Site ) and is incoporating these into the diocesan communications infrastructure.
