16th - 19th September 2010 will be some of the most significant days for the Catholic Church in England and Wales since Pope John Paul II's visit in 1982. His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church and Successor of St Peter, will visit these shores to strengthen us in our faith. We are looking forward eagerly to his arrival!

In this section of the website, you can:

  1. find the latest updates about the Visit, as they appear
  2. read from The Blog, updated every day
  3. find out more about the itinerary of the Holy Father
  4. be updated on how to see the Pope (not simply on television)
  5. read more about the Pope and about John Henry Cardinal Newman, whom he will beatify during the visit
  6. browse photographs of Popes, past and present
  7. find resources for personal and parish preparation
  8. find out about the Visit's theme
  9. watch video footage from the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales organisers
