Fr. Frank McCauley retires as President
Past and present members of the Faith and Justice Commission
recently gathered at Katherine House with old and new friends
to celebrate Fr. Frank McCauley's many years of service as President
of the Commission.
Fr. Frank's retirement ended an era - over 20 years of establishment,
growth, creative development and revitalisation for the Commission,
supported always by his friendship and insight.

Salford - A Fairtrade Diocese
Many parishes in the diocese are now working towards achieving
fairtrade status. |
Becoming a fairtrade parish involves using fairtrade tea/coffee
(sugar, biscuits, chocolates etc.) at all parish meeting/events,
displaying fairtrade literature and posters and, optionally,
accommodating a fairtrade stall at church.

Fortnight 2006 (pdf)
