The Family Forum is a lay initiative within the Diocese of Salford. It provides support, discussion, and action for those interested in and working on marriage & family life issues.

The Forum brings together individuals, representatives of family agencies and parishes within the Diocese. The Forum provides an opportunity for mutual support. networking and sharing of good practice. There is also the opportunity to share information about family and marriage related work taking place within the Diocese.

The Forum is organised by St Antony’s Centre for Church & Industry as part of its Diocesan work. The Centre is establishing a range of resources and information related to marriage and family life.

The Family Forum is linked through the Centre to the Marriage & Family Life Committee of the R.C. Bishops Conference.

Representatives from the Diocese attend the regional and national co-ordinating meetings of the Marriage & Family Life Committee.
