Mgr
Mark Davies the Vicar General celebrated Mass at
St Mary's ('The Hidden Gem') on the Solemnity of the
Sacred Heart of Jesus - the day nominated by Pope Benedict
XVI to inaugurate a 'Year for Priests' in celebration
of the 150th anniversary of
St John Vianney the patron saint of priests worldwide.
At the end of the Mass,
Mgr Davies dedicated daily Eucharistic Exposition at
St Mary's in Manchester City Centre
(Mon to Sat; 10am - 4pm) throughout this special year
for the Holy Father's 'Year for Priests' intentions.
